Using Revolut in Ireland
Revolut serves Irish residents through its European banking licence, offering a multi-currency account and SEPA connectivity in euros.
Licence & protection
Irish customers are onboarded by Revolut Bank UAB, a Lithuanian-licensed bank passported into Ireland under Central Bank of Ireland supervision. Eligible deposits are protected by the Lithuanian deposit-guarantee scheme up to €100,000 per depositor.
Plans & pricing
Standard (free), Plus, Premium, Metal and Ultra are available with increasing FX limits and perks. Standard is free; ATM withdrawals are free up to a monthly limit. Weekend FX mark-ups and out-of-plan fees apply.
Accounts & cards
EUR account with a Lithuanian IBAN (LT), accepted for SEPA transfers across the eurozone. Virtual and physical Visa cards, with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Currency exchange
Hold and exchange 30+ currencies. Free weekday exchanges up to your plan limit; weekend mark-up applies.
Transfers
Free instant transfers to other Revolut users; SEPA transfers in euros; international transfers via SWIFT.

Revolut Business
Revolut Business is available to Irish companies and freelancers, with multi-currency accounts and SEPA details.
Verification
Irish passport, Public Services Card or driving licence plus a selfie; proof of address may be required.
